I have your back, so you can do what you do best!
Now residing in THE BULL CITY -- Durham, NC!
Here's the FULL Interview for the #WCW feature for the
How long have you been in business, and what inspired you
to start your business?
I enjoyed over a decade in book publishing and promotion before
becoming a solopreneur, and I wanted to use my background to do
something creative to help small businesses succeed, and allow them
more time to work on the day-to-day demands of their business.
I've been the one-woman force behind OfftheVinePR for about ten
years now. My husband and I began two award-winning online
proud of the 501 (C) 3 giving charity we founded in my mom's honor,
called Peg's Presents. Peg's provides fun & educational toys to
children in need, and we're happy to say that we'll be helping kids
in Durham this holiday season.
What exactly do you do? Tell us about your incrediBULL business:
I'm known as the "social media muse" by my clients, because I create content that’s fresh, fun, informative, interesting, educational -- presented with personality to keep their readers and customers engaged, and for most of my clients, social media is yet one more thing to add to their looooong list of to-dos.
I’m here to help take care of the things they don't have time for (and the things they don't know how to handle) but that have to get done. I work with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and I can also write their newsletters, blog posts, press releases, event promos, etc., and I often wake up with new promotional ideas for my clients dancing in my head like sugarplums -- it's a blast! :)
Which bull in the Bull City is your favorite?
I have 3. Numero uno has to be my little Taurus wrist tattoo in honor of my Dad. Then, it's a tie between Mr. Bronze Bull downtown (I love how they decorate him), and the "snorting" ballpark bull, who makes me excited every time he comes to life when the Bulls have a home-run!
What do you love the most about Durham?
The diversity, the laid-back cool vibe and the glowing Durham pride. There's such a sense of community here, and I love that there's always so much to do (the music and restaurant scene are amazing)! It's really a wonderful place to live and explore -- I guess you could say I fell in love at first sight with Durham,
Anything else you would like to add?
When I'm not working on client content, I'm usually outside taking nature walks, dancing to 80s tunes, or hosting wine tastings for friends and family at home. NJ born, I love calling the The Bull City our home, along with my husband Andrew and our adopted Westie, Nugget. I'm currently working on a humorous memoir (to be published in 2021) and I love cuddling baby goats as often as possible.
